"FOLK-ENGAGMENT" is 14 months project aims to empower 14 adult people and 4 staff organization, with educational, cultural, economical and social barriers, aged 30+ from Romania and Italian rural areas, to be active citizens in their local communities including people from different culture and background. The project aims to empower people to participate actively in social life, gained civic engagement and participation skills through learner-centered and multicultural Folk events.
We planned these activities:
- Kick Off Meeting in order to strengthen fruitful collaboration with partner
- Methodology development at local level including 5 local partners per each Project Partners + 14 participants and 4 staff organizations
- Pilot Test in Italy with 14 Romanian and Italian participants + 4 staff organizations and 10 local partners in blended modality
- Final Event in Romania with 2 IT participants and 2 staff organizations to further strengthen partnership
The RESULTS of the project are:
1) One Folk-Engagement multicultural event organized by adult people with fewer opportunities in collaboration with staff organizations
2) 14 adult people acquire civic engagement skills and become aware of European community
3) 4 youth workers acquire experience on involve adult people with different culture in rural areas
4) E-Booklet IT, ENG, RO
5) at least 20 followers interested on the methodology.
