OEL objectives:
1. Equipping 80 adults from 8 cities in RO and IT with the knowledge and skills that allow them to become agents of change. This ob. was achieved through the implementation of 4 workshops each in the communities of RO and IT. The involvement of adults with limited opportunities was a plus for these workshops considering the pandemic context and their social inclusion.
2. Creation of 8 non-formal learning opportunities using outdoor experiential learning that target potentially vulnerable learners. This objective was achieved through the close collaboration between the 2 partners and the creation - development of the working methodology within the outdoor activities
3. Promote a healthy and active lifestyle at any age and promote a socially inclusive learning environment. By implementing the 8 workshops and involving young people with limited opportunities, especially in Balan-RO and xx-IT
4. To increase the competence of partner organizations in the use of outdoor experiential learning. This ob. was achieved through the good cooperation and management of the Implementation Team
The flow of the project was thought according to the ""needs tree"" of the target group and the ""result tree"" - which were the expected results both qualitatively and quantitatively.
A1 was dedicated to the preparation of the working methodology in a non-formal context. This document included a description of the locations, the profile of the trainer, the needs of the target group, the objectives to be achieved, the workshop program, non-formal methods used, recommendations for the selection of the target group. The target group was represented by adults, volunteers, NGOs and local public authorities.
A2 and A3 were dedicated to the implementation of non-formal workshops in 4 local communities in Romania and 4 local communities in Italy - respecting the methodology created in A1.
A4 - Results assessment. One of the project's goals is to create a set of best practices that can be used at the European level but also the national and regional level of how to use outdoor experiential learning to tackle the issue of reduced participation of adults in training and to help build efficient methods. In addition to the dissemination activities, we created recommendations that we sent to the local town halls in the 8 communities.
The concrete results of the project are:
1. The working methodology in outdoor activities created and developed by the 2 partners. This methodology included:
- Summary of the project and assumed objectives
- Description of the selected urban communities and why they were selected?
- Profile of the trainer for the outdoor workshops
- The tasks he has in facilitating the workshops
- The intended target group and the selection procedure
- The needs that we have identified at the level of the target group
- Competent interest
- Program of activities and methods used
2. Communication plan between partners:
- Actions to follow
- The purpose of the actions
- WP planning
- Expected results
- Evidence
- Monitoring and evaluation tools – How to?
For WP2 and WP3. In the framework of these two WPs, we carried out 8 workshops according to the methodology: 4 in Romania - Brasov, Balan, Oradea Bucharest, and the partner from Italy did in: Portici, Dinnammare, Capo Milazzo, Capo Peloro & Ganzirri. The workshops followed the developed methodology.
WP4. This WP was for DEOR the results of the project and for communicating with the local authorities/mayors in the communities where we held the workshops and identifying new opportunities.
